Revelry Distillery by Vaniitha Jaiin Launches in Goa with Innovative Vanaha Gin
Goa, India – In a landmark move for India’s luxury spirits sector, renowned alcobev expert Vaniitha Jaiin has launched Revelry Distillery, a cutting-edge craft distillery nestled in the lush Sattari region of North Goa. With this bold step, Jaiin—internationally celebrated as one of the Top 10 Women of Wine—aims to redefine the Indian premium spirits narrative.
A New Era of Craft Distilling
Purpose-built to foster sustainability, innovation, and artisanal quality, Revelry Distillery boasts a production capacity of up to 1 million bottles annually. The facility is powered by state-of-the-art equipment, including a custom Hagyo copper pot still from Hungary, and a rare five-step gin-making process—combining botanical maceration, copper pot distillation, vapour infusion, cold vacuum distillation, and staging.
It is one of the few distilleries globally that blends all three sophisticated techniques—copper pot, vapour infusion, and cold vacuum distillation—to produce spirits with unmatched complexity and consistency.

The Debut: Vanaha Gin
The distillery’s first release, Vanaha Gin, is a luxurious sipping gin inspired by India’s ancient forests and biodiversity. Its name—drawn from the Sanskrit words Vana (forest) and Aha (epiphany)—reflects its origin story and deep-rooted identity.
Crafted from 24 handpicked botanicals such as Deodar Wood, Patchouli, Palash Flowers, Assam Lemons, and Juniper Berries, Vanaha is earthy, woody, aromatic, and 100% natural—free from artificial flavors or additives.
Significantly, Vanaha is India’s first gin to use cold vacuum distillation, a technique that preserves the essence of delicate botanicals, resulting in elevated aromas, refined flavours, and a clean, lingering finish.
“With Vanaha, we’re championing mindful indulgence—where every sip tells a story of provenance, purity, and purpose,” Jaiin adds.
Premium Presentation Meets Purpose
Vanaha comes in a forest-green bottle featuring embossed copper foiling and a raised woodpecker seal—a nod to the spirit’s forest-born inspiration and a symbol of vitality in Indian mythology. The bottle offers a sensory-rich “forest-to-bottle” experience aimed at connoisseurs seeking meaning, not just luxury.
Vanaha Gin is priced at ₹2,400 for a 750ml bottle and officially launched on May 16 in Goa. The roll-out will expand to key metro cities starting with Karnataka, followed by other states in a phased manner.
