Diageo India’s celebrated single malt brand, Godawan, has introduced its Triple Cask Travel Exclusive, a limited-edition expression created specifically for global travelers. First launched at Bengaluru Duty Free, it will soon be available at premium travel hubs including Mumbai, Delhi, and the UAE throughout 2025.
Crafted in Alwar, Rajasthan, the expression pays tribute to the region’s traditional jaali craftsmanship. The Triple Cask matures in ex-bourbon barrels, then receives a distinctive finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry, virgin oak, and cherry wood casks — resulting in layered notes of floral and fruity aromas, a sweet, textured mouthfeel, and a smooth woody finish.
Bottled at 46% ABV, this 700 ml release is priced around ₹5,500, tailored for premium gifting and personal indulgence.
Craft Meets Conscious Luxury
“This edition introduces new dimensions of depth while staying true to Godawan’s ethos of mindful luxury and cultural pride,” said Vikram Damodaran, Chief Innovation Officer at Diageo India. He emphasized that the release carries Rajasthan’s spirit to the world in a way that is both personal and purposeful.
David Grady, Country GM at Avolta, remarked, “We’re proud to debut this rare malt — it reflects India’s evolving palate and our mission to offer world-class experiences to global travelers.”

Raising the Bar for Indian Single Malts
Since its 2022 debut, Godawan has become India’s most awarded single malt — rooted in craftsmanship, cultural storytelling, and sustainability. Named after the endangered Great Indian Bustard, each bottle contributes to the preservation of its habitat in Rajasthan.
With the Triple Cask Travel Exclusive, Godawan not only expands its global footprint but also reinforces its commitment to positioning Indian single malts as global icons of craft, culture, and collectability.
