Brown-Forman launches The Glendronach 12, 15 and 18 Year Old single malt whiskies in India

Global spirits company Brown-Forman has officially introduced The Glendronach to the Indian market, marking a significant move in the country’s fast-growing premium whisky segment. The launch brings the Highland distillery’s celebrated core range to India, including The Glendronach Aged 12 Years, 15 Years, and 18 Years.

Founded in 1826 in Scotland’s renowned “Valley of Brambles,” The Glendronach has built a global reputation for its richly sherried single malts matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Andalucía, Spain. The brand is known for producing deeply layered whiskies with bold character and exceptional complexity.

A Highland Legacy Built on Sherry Cask Maturation

Crafted in the north-east Highlands of Scotland, The Glendronach whiskies are matured in traditional warehouses and distilled using the distillery’s signature saxophone-shaped stills. This distinctive process helps create a heavier spirit, perfectly suited for long ageing and intense sherry cask influence.

Each expression in the newly launched range offers a unique flavour journey:

  • The Glendronach 12 Years delivers notes of autumn fruits, gingerbread, chocolate praline, and orange peel.
  • The Glendronach 15 Years reveals richer layers of maraschino cherry, walnut liqueur, and dark chocolate mint.
  • The Glendronach 18 Years, matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks, offers stewed fruits, tobacco, toasted walnut bread, and an exceptionally long finish.

The range has been crafted under the guidance of renowned Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie and is bottled with natural cask-imparted colour, preserving the whisky’s authentic character.
