
Radico Khaitan Launches Ankahi Zaffran Spiced Liqueur at ProWein 2025
Radico Khaitan’s Rampur Distillery has introduced Ankahi Zaffran Spiced Liqueur, the first offering in its premium Ankahi Liqueur series. The product made its debut at ProWein 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany, held from March 16 to 18, showcasing India’s rich heritage on a global platform.
A Tribute to India’s Heritage
Ankahi, meaning “untold,” represents India’s hidden botanical treasures. The liqueur’s unique bottle design reflects this theme, inviting consumers to explore its depth of flavors.
Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director of Radico Khaitan, stated, “Our mission is to bring India’s forgotten gems to the world, and Ankahi Zaffran Spiced Liqueur is a reflection of this vision.”
A Fusion of Tradition and Craftsmanship
Inspired by Kashmir’s renowned saffron fields, this liqueur is crafted with 21 handpicked herbs and spices, including:
- Clove
- Cardamom
- Cinnamon
- Star anise
- Coriander
Saffron, known as the ‘jewel of spices,’ forms the core of this liqueur, imparting its golden hue and distinctive aroma.
Kunal Madan, Senior Vice President of International Business at Radico Khaitan, emphasized, “This liqueur is more than a beverage—it is a journey through India’s rich culture and traditions.”
Global Rollout and Availability
- 1L bottle – Exclusively for Global Travel Retail
- 700ml bottle – Available in international markets
Shipments will begin in April 2025, with distribution across key markets in the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. The product will be available at leading liquor retailers and duty-free shops worldwide.
