Wild Turkey Austin Nichols Archives Gold Foil Edition 16-year-old limited-edition Kentucky straight bourbon bottle with heritage-inspired packaging.

Wild Turkey has introduced a premium new limited-edition bourbon series, the Austin Nichols Archives Collection, inspired by some of the distillery’s most iconic vintage releases, giving whiskey enthusiasts and collectors something truly special to watch.

A Tribute to a Legendary Bourbon Era

The inaugural release, Gold Foil Edition, is a 16-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 120 proof, created to capture the rich profile of Wild Turkey’s sought-after vintage expressions from the 1980s and 1990s, popularly known among bourbon fans as the “Cheesy Gold Foil”

The launch pays homage to the whiskey industry’s historic “Glut Era,” a period when ageing inventories resulted in older whiskies being blended into standard releases, producing deeper, oak-forward flavour profiles that remain highly admired today.

Crafted for Collectors and Bourbon Enthusiasts

This non-chill-filtered bourbon has been aged for 16 years and developed using carefully selected barrels from Wild Turkey’s Camp Nelson F, D, and E rickhouses.

According to the brand, the bourbon offers a rich and layered tasting experience with notes of dark fruit, mature oak, cherry cola, clove, dark honey, brown sugar, leather, and peppery spice, making it a premium sip for serious whiskey lovers.
